Jeffery Asmus

Jeffery Robert Asmus, age 71, of Wautoma, formerly of Fond du Lac passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at his home.

He was born October 7, 1948 in Fond du Lac, the son of Norman and Joyce (Scheibach) Asmus. He married Barbara E. Hefter on August 1, 1972 in Fond du Lac.

Jeff and his wife resided in Fond du Lac where he was employed at Damrow Company and later Manowske Welding for many years. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends, woodworking, and living at their lake home on Lake Alpine.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara E. Asmus, Wautoma; three sons, Tod Asmus, Fond du Lac,  Steven (Laura) Asmus, Fond du Lac and Chad (Rebecca) Asmus, Freedom; five grandchildren, Kaden, Graesyn, Noah, Ashton and Landon; two sisters, Diana (Kenneth “Butch”) Rost, Fond du Lac and Carol (Richard) Brauer, Fremont; three brothers, David (Peggy) Asmus, Fond du Lac, Roy (Patti) Asmus, Wautoma, Donald (Mary Jo) Asmus, Prescott, WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Lee Asmus.
