Zella Goodwin, age 86, of Wisconsin Rapids, formerly of Hancock, Minocqua and Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, November 26, 2013 at Our House Senior Living in Wisconsin Rapids.
She was born June 8, 1928 in Adams County, the daughter of Claude and Elma (Surls) Mattox. She married Charles Goodwin on June 13, 1959 in the City of West Allis.
After Zella married, she spent her life putting family before others. She loved bowling, traveling, casinos and just being with family. She loved her humming birds.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Goodwin, Wisconsin Rapids; two special nieces, Muriel Ahlborn and Norene Ahlborn, both of Hancock; other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with the Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating. Burial will be in the Hancock Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of services at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com
