William "Todd" T. Klemm

William Todd Klemm, born November 3, 1959, returned Home on June 13, 2024. He was born to William O. Klemm and Harriett (Vaughan). Todd spent his childhood learning to be a cowboy. He loved his horses. Todd graduated from Little Wolf High School in 1977 and left his hometown of Manawa. Todd attended UW River Falls, where he received his animal science degree. He met and married Alesia Wescott, and they welcomed a daughter, Lauren. After college, he joined the Air Force and traveled to Texas, Maryland, and later to New York, where he married Trude Wells and welcomed her daughter Erin as his own. Todd then met and married Christine Bailey, and they welcomed a daughter, Hanna. Their travels took them to Germany, where he proudly performed in the European Rodeo circuit. After several years, he returned to California and then he spent many years in North Dakota. In 2012, Todd finally returned to his hometown in Wisconsin, where he was happy to spend time with his family again after living away most of his life.

Throughout his life, Todd was a talented artist. He could be found carving beautiful leatherwork, whittling a plain stick into a mountain man, or spinning a beautiful dream catcher while visiting with family or friends.

Todd could be spotted in a crowd by his signature long curled mustache. He has always loved his cowboy life and traveled to compete in rodeos for decades. He could often be found shoeing horses or breaking a wild horse on a whim. 

Todd is survived by daughters: Lauren (Ryan) Ebert, Erin (Tom) Miles, Hanna Pariseau; grandchildren: Kristen, Collin, Audrina, Dominic, Melody, Lincoln, and Lucy; sister: Brenda Klemm Busby; brothers: Kelly (Brenda) Klemm, Kory (Fawn) Klemm; sister-in-law: Stephanie (Chris) Webb; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by parents: William "Bill" and Harriett Klemm; brother: Kevin Klemm; paternal grandparents: Erwin ‘Casey’ and Edna (Prellwitz) Klemm and maternal grandparents: Dean and Esther (Hedtke) Vaughan.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 starting at 1PM at E4554 County Road B, Ogdensburg, WI.
