William “Bill” “Willie” R. Simons, of Milwaukee and Crystal Lake passed at Crystal Lake on June 9th 2022. Bill was born July 18, 1948 in Milwaukee to Robert and Kathleen (Roach) Simons and grew up in St. Francis WI. After High School he pursued a career in Carpentry which was his lifelong career. On December 23, 1982 he married Jane E. Simos. Bill loved fishing, hunting, golfing, and trap and skeet. He was a master at making maple syrup, which was a coveted gift by all. In addition to all of his hobbies he loved to gather with his friends at the bar to play bingo and throw horseshoes.
Willie is survived by his wife and best friend of 40 years: Jane Simons: six children: Katherine Simons, Kelly Simons, Robert (Alexandra)Simons, Elizabeth (Collin) Price, Heather (John) Norton, Maureen (Scott) Planey; 11 grandkids: Janelle, Tera (Dillon), Lilliana, Grace, Kobe, Bennett, Arya, Aldo, Anelo, Hopper, Keaton; two great grandbabies: Veda Jane and Kai; sister: Janet Dube’; brothers: Ted Simons, and Rick (Barb) Simons; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends in his lifetime, but he is survived by his best friends: Patrick Wallace, Dave Semrow, Neil Kohn, and Steve Sharratt. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25th, 2022, at Bladers Dakota Inn, W9501 County JJ, Wautoma, WI 54982, and beginning at noon.
