Willard Walter Hogle, of Hancock, was born September 15, 1914 and he passed away September 8, 2012. He loved life and wanted to live to be 100 years old. At 97 years and 51 weeks he came close. He played guitar, mouth organ, and the Hammond organ. He was an avid golfer and loved to fish. Willard was a milkman, he worked at Simmons Mattress Factory, did upholstery work, fixed TV's and was a dance inspector. He loved to sing old songs such as "You are My Sunshine." He was preceded in death by sisters Irma and Mildred, brother Donald and son Jon (a firefighter). Willard leaves behind a son Willard and a daughter Lonnie along with countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
