Wayne W. Kramer, age 81, of rural Bancroft, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 7, 2013 at Sylvan Crossings in Stevens Point.
He was born February 6, 1932 in Stevens Point, the son of John L. and Ethel M. (Hill) Kramer. He married Esther L. Hansen on September 22, 1951 in Plainfield.
He is survived by his children, Diana Kramer, Plainfield, Ryan (Beverly) Kramer, Wautoma, Laura (Ray) Gerard, Plainfield, Louise (John) Johnston, Plainfield, Terry (Lori) Kramer, Wisconsin Rapids, Bruce (Julie) Kramer, Wisconsin Rapids, Leslie Kramer, Plainfield, Leona (Steve) Kealiher, Plainfield, Dean Kramer, Plainfield, Eugene (Jennifer) Kramer, Bancroft; 21 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mildred Drmolka, Wild Rose, Marge Batinger, Wild Rose, Gordon Kramer, Bancroft, Harriet Brandt, Wisconsin Rapids, Beverly (William) Putz, Arbor Vita; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Esther, one son, Russell Kramer; a great granddaughter, Cora Stommel; brothers and sisters, Norma Marsh, Nona Getzloff, Avis Brandt, Ralph Kramer, John Kramer, Audrey Waterman and Shirley McIntee.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with Wayne's grandson, Pastor Jeremy Johnston officiating. Burial will be in the Plainfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-7 pm in the Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services.
