She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son, Mark Alan Peterson on September 22, 2003. Virginia was not afraid to die as evidenced by the following words that she wanted included in this obituary: God's grace helped me through many troubles, heartaches, and losses. Without His presence, I could not have done it. God's will was done in each case. It is His death on the cross and His resurrection that saves me. The grace of God is my only hope for eternal life. It is not what we do, but what He has already done for us. The good that I have tried to do was not to gain heaven, because I already have that. It was done for my love of Him and what He has done for me. Heaven is my home. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev.
