Virginia Ailene Bei, age 96, of Wautoma passed away peacefully Friday, March 23, 2018 at the Wild Rose Manor.
She was born February 22, 1922 in the Township of Mount Morris, the daughter of Oscar and Charlotte (Simonson) Norlin. She married Anthony “Tony” Bei on Sept. 21, 1942 in Long Island, New York. He preceded her in death on July 21, 2008.
Virginia and her late husband proudly raised their adopted and many foster children in a loving home in Wautoma. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
She is survived by five children, Enrico “Rick” Bei, Wautoma, Bradley (Paula) Hottenstine, Wautoma, David (Kris) Bei, DePere, Christiaan (Lisa) Bei, Chippewa Falls, and Mary Bei Posorke, Wautoma; grandchildren, Heidi (Matt), Tim, Melissa (Jon), Martin, Bryce, Danielle (Zach), Brady, Blase and Brady Posorske, and April (Dan); great grandchildren, Maverick, Layla, Hailey, Korben, Lucian, Noah, and Liz; her sister-in-law, LaVerne Norlin, Wautoma. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda; her grandson, Ferdinand Nimphius; her sister, Mary Ellen Peterson; her brother, Austin Norlin; and by her parents.
A Celebration of Life service will be at on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with Rev. P. Michael Thomas officiating. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
