Valerie Sullivan, age 68, passed away quietly on Friday June 6th 2014. Her path in life started in Racine, WI then on to Boulder, CO with her parents and two sisters, next to San Diego, CA with her first husband. They moved back to Racine to raise their daughter Tonya. After many years, she made the move to Neshkoro, WI to enjoy country living, watching the birds and animals in her backyard. Valerie really enjoyed this.
She is known for her lively personality, eyes that often sparkled with amusement and a love for talking for hours. Valerie enjoyed bowling, embroidery, crocheting, watching old movies, telling jokes and jigsaw puzzling. Some of her proudest moments was that Thursday night high score after a long week of work. Valerie was also proud of her daughter, claiming Tonya was more willing to go out into the world to explore and be successful. Her daughter's strength came from her mother. She will be missed by many, more than she knew. A memorial is planned for July in Racine, WI.
Valerie is survived by her daughter Tonya Lambeth, grandson Declan Dilley, sister Judy Mclaughlin with husband Bob Mclaughlin, nephew Scott Van Ausdall with wife Denise Van Ausdall, great-niece Allison Van Ausdall, nieces Dawn Baker, Kelly Mercadillo, Troy Baker, Pauline Zamecnik. She will join her other sister, Pat Baker, in peace.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
