Thomas Hilliker

Thomas Merle Hilliker, age 90, of Wautoma, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Berlin.

He was born Nov. 4, 1929 in Kenosha, the son of Truman and Esther (Williams) Hilliker. He married Maria Contreras on Jan. 18, 1991.

Tom was employed as a bricklayer for many years in the Milwaukee area and later in Stevens Point. Following retirement, he farmed in the Town of Mount Morris. Tom enjoyed his vegetable garden and classic movies. He loved playing the guitar and singing. He will be fondly remembered by his family for his birthday serenades.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Hilliker; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rosalinda, Seferina (Steven), Estella (Henryk), Jose, Lorenzo (Laura), Consuelo, Ramiro (Neida) and Eliza (Kent). He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and by his three special feline companions.

Private family services were held at the Leikness Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Wautoma.
