Theresa "Susie" Peterson

Theresa “Susie” Eileen Peterson, age 71 of Coloma passed away on Friday, November 05, 2021 at Comfort of Home in Menomonie after many years dealing with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born on July 6, 1950 in Wausau to Glenn and Theresa (Jacobson) Butzin. On August 3, 1968 she married Jay Peterson. Susie attended University of Stevens Point and University of Illinois where she earned a Master of Arts Degree. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and raising her family. Susie also helped on the family farm.

Theresa was the loving mother of: Erick (Michelle) Peterson, Jason Peterson, Daniel Peterson, Emmy Peterson, Susanne Peterson, Marsy Peterson, Ashley (Jeremy) Grimmenga; 11 grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Jay Peterson and son: Steven Peterson.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10AM until the time of services at 11AM.
