Sylvia A. Janka, age 88, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her home.
She was born July 4, 1926 in Milwaukee. She married Elma J. Janka on on July 5, 1947 in Milwaukee.
Sylvia and her husband resided in Milwaukee for many years where she was employed as a secretary at Peck Meat Packing Co. They moved to Wautoma in 1979. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Sylvia was a member and past Matron of Wautoma Chapter 198 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 67 years, Elmer J. Janka, Wautoma; one son, Dennis (Glenda) Janka, Miles City, Montana; one daughter, Cynthia Janka (Phil Albo), Wautoma. She will be missed by her special great grandson, Sam, along with other relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; two children in infancy; and by her granddaughter, Jennifer.
