Sylvia Amelia Huber, age 90, formerly of Wautoma, WI, went to be with Jesus Christ her Lord at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King, WI on July 3, 2013. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and wanted to share with everyone how much Christ meant to her. Sylvia was born on November 5, 1922, in Manchester, WI to August and Paulina (Dumke) Salzwedel. On July 16, 1947, Sylvia was wedded to Faye A. Huber (a veteran of WWII) in Wesley, IA.
Sylvia is survived by her three sons: Faye G. (Joanne) Huber, Berlin, Edward J. (Patricia) Huber, Waupaca, WI, George R. (Christine) Huber, Wesley Chapel, FL; one sister: Myrtle Bronkhorst, Waupun; 13 grandchildren plus a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Faye A. Huber on March 10, 1961; grandson: Jarrod Carlson; two brothers: Albert and Emil Salzwedel and a sister: Clara Lathrop.
Visitation will be held at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma, WI, Sunday July 7, 2013, 5-7pm, with visitation also Monday July 8, 2013, 10am at Crossroads Family Church until time of service at 11am with Pastor Dave Reilly officiating. Burial at Princeton City Cemetery, Princeton, WI will follow a luncheon at church.
