Shirley Schmudlach
HANCOCK - Shirley Schmudlach, 74, Hancock, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital following complications after a fall.
Shirley was born July 14, 1939 in rural Coloma, the only child of Rheinhold and Emma (Schultz) Schmudlach.
She grew up on the family farm and lived in the Coloma-Hancock area all her life. She was a member of the Hancock United Church of Christ. She was living in Wild Rose at the time of her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents and many relatives.
She is survived by a special friend, Louis Spata, Wild Rose; cousins and their families, Bernice Lindner of Ohio; Linda and Lyle Rhode, Menasha, Lisa Zeihen and Laycie Revoir, both of Appleton; Sally Manteufel, Sarah Vanden Hoogen, Jim Schoch, Janet Schoch, all of Menasha; Anona Schmudlach, Wautoma, and William and Mary Jane Schmudlach, Hancock.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at Coloma Hillside Cemetery, with Pastor Yul Kwon officiating.
Leikness Funeral Home of Wautoma is assisting the family with arrangements.
