Samuel Tomsson Kemper

Samuel Tomsson Kemper, age 28 of Wild Rose, formerly of Neenah, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023 as a result of a  vehicle accident. He was born on October 17, 1995 in Fond du Lac, but was raised in Neenah.  He graduated from Neenah High School in 2013.  He then enlisted in the Marines for a brief period and pursued a number of different occupations.  His desire to spend his free time and eventually work at Edenwood Ranch and Preserve was where he found his niche.  

Sam was a true outdoorsman.  He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping, boating, snowboarding and snowmobiling.  Other interests included caring for pets (dogs, fish, lizards) and wildlife (raccoons, frogs, turtles, etc), He also liked to act like a mechanic when his cars or toys needed fixing.  Socializing with friends was how he spent most of his leisure time until his son was born, and then being a dad was his main priority.

He will be remembered as being adventure-seeking, loud, humorous, loving and strong-willed.  Everyone that knew him would agree that he was a force, an undeniable presence and will be truly missed.

Sam is survived by the light of his life, his son, Bammersson Matthew, his parents, Tom and Diane Kemper (Neenah), his siblings; Corey Kemper, PHD, Pittsburgh, PA, Daniel (Rachel) Kemper, Holmen, WI, David (Kelly Jo) Kemper, Neenah, WI, Scott (Alli) Kemper, Fremont, WI, Mitchell Kemper, Neenah, WI, Crystal Cole, Oshkosh, WI, Ryan (Erin) Kemper, Little Chute, WI, Matthew Kemper, Milwaukee, WI.  Sam also had a brother-like friend, Cody Schmid, Wild Rose, WI, his son's mother, Emily Rochon, Black Creek WI, and his God Parents, David and Gwen Freiberg, (Madison, WI) that he loved very much.  Sam is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Family meant a lot to him.

A celebration of Sam's life will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Antlers Sports Bar, 8540 Bison Rd, Larsen, WI from 11:30AM to 3:30PM with a lunch served at noon.
