Ruby Johnson

Ruby Ettie Johnson, age 74, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully
at her home on Friday, February 21, 2014
She was born January 28, 1940 in the Town of Dakota, the daughter
of Walter and Pearl (Fink) Bliske. She married Reuben L. Johnson on
Sept. 28, 1963 at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church. He preceded
her in death on June 17, 1993.
Ruby worked for many years for the Wilcox families, Heritage Farms,
and also Realist, Inc., Berlin.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Johnson (Curt Reimer), Reuben
(Mary Lou) Johnson Jr., and Ruth (Jeff) Sefton; one brother, Clifford
(Delores) Bliske; one sister, Janet (Carl) Wodrich; grandchildren,
Todd Stapleman Jr., Brenda Schanmier, Travis Hoople, Franklin Stapleman,
Laura McNulty, Robert Johnson, Felicia Johnson, Steven Johnson, Amber
Larson, Andrea Anckner, Jacob Sefton, and Alexandria Sefton; 12 great
grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. Also, a special friend of many years, Oscar (Nancy)
Cardenas.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one
brother, Donald Bliske; two sisters, Mildred Zaeger and Jane Bliske; one
great granddaughter, Vivian Schanmier.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m.
at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in the spring.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:30 until the time of services.
