Robert Tarr

Robert J. Tarr, age 72, of Wautoma, passed away peacefully in the presence of family Thursday evening, April 6, 2017 at his home.

He was born March 15, 1945 in Waupaca, the son of Freeman and Jean (Testin) Tarr. He married Laura Monroe on July 10, 1965 at Wild Rose Presbyterian Church.

Bob was employed as a Core Finisher at Berlin Foundry for 44 years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, playing cards and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Tarr, Wautoma; two children, Roberta (Dan) Tarr Apps, Wild Rose and Todd (Marlo) Tarr, Redgranite; seven grandchildren, Kristine (Brad) Nagreen, Appleton, Jodi Apps (Britten) Maryland, Derek Apps (Kristine), Green Bay, Ashley (Trey) King, Augusta, WI, Jaclyn (Ben) Gunderson, Wautoma, Brittany (fiancé Sam) Sailer, Two Rivers, Morgan Sailer (David), Whitewater; three great grandchildren, Noah John Nagreen, Peter Francis King and Harper Marie Gunderson; one brother, William (Elaine) Tarr, Berlin; one sister, Nancy (the late David) Tower, DeSoto, WI. He is further survived and his uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives and special friends.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma.In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
