Robert Jelenchick

Robert B. Jelenchick, age 88, of Pharr, Texas, formerly of Wautoma, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana.
He was born August 22, 1922 in Milwaukee, the son of Steven and Stella (Horvath) Jelenchick. He married Helen Mae (Yochum) Jelenchick on September 30, 1944 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on October 8, 2001.
Robert served his country in the United States Air Force serving during World War II.
Mr. Jelenchick is survived by his two sons, Robert (June M. Behrens) Jelenchick, Jr. Venice, FL., Mark W. (Elizabeth Anne Galligan) Jelenchick, Georgetown, IN.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren; his sister, Betty Jane (Ed) Diesing; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 12:00 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials to: An Orphan's Bright Star, P.O. Box 1076, El Lago, TX 77586, www.orphansbrightstar.org or a charity of your choice.
