Robert L. Furnas, age 82, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday morning, January 17, 2016 at Silver Lake Haven in Wautoma.
He was born October 14, 1933 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of James H. and Violet M. (Tooman) Furnas. He married Adele Peterson Hubred on September 4, 1993 at First Assembly of God in Waupaca.
Bob served his country in the Army and worked as an auto fuel electric system repairman. Later, he was an Art Teacher for a number of years and then a Mold Maker at Milsco in Redgranite for 28 years. He was a member of Wild Rose Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Adele Furnas, Wautoma; three children, Timothy (Joanne) Furnas, Batavia, IL, Kelly (Scott) Halsey, Fridley, MN, Todd (Tammy) Furnas, Wild Rose; grandchildren, James, Maggi, Melissa, Kirk, Kate, Tyler, and Tereah; one sister, Marillyn (Bob) Schlutz, Columbus Junction, Iowa. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Grace Ann Yates.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Wild Rose Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Kaetterhenry officiating. A luncheon will follow. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Muscatine, Iowa.
Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
