Robert "Bob" Lee Apps

Robert “Bob” Lee Apps, age 76 of Wild Rose passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2023 at ThedaCare Hospital, Wild Rose. He was born on May 24, 1946 in Springwater, rural Wild Rose. He graduated from Wild Rose High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Carter Hall from 1964 to 1968. On July 1, 1967 he married Arlene Karpinski in Milwaukee at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Bob worked as a mail carrier in the Milwaukee - Bay View area for 33 years until retiring, moving to Knoxville for 5 years and then moving back to Wild Rose. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Bob is survived by his wife: Arlene Apps; daughters: Lisa Apps, Tina Apps; stepmother: Mary Apps; sisters: Linda Rosales, Sue (Clyde) Wendlandt, Darlene Apps; brothers: Dave (Bunny) Apps, Dan (Bobbie) Apps; sister-in-law: Jan (Tom) Matek-Schultz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Edward “Ed” Apps Jr. and sister: Sandy Clements.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at church from 10AM until the time of Mass at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made in Robert’s name to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wautoma or Waushara County Food Pantry.
