Richard Allen Williams, age 89, of Wautoma passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
He was born September 27, 1935 in Milwaukee, the son of Roger and Veronica (Tehan) Williams.
Richard attended Messmer High School in Milwaukee. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1954 until 1957. He met his wonderful wife, Marion while stationed at Blytheville Air Force Base in Arkansas and were married on July 19, 1957. She preceded him in death on October 1, 2017.
They relocated back to Wisconsin and together with their four daughters owned and operated Williams Sweet Corn Stand located in Mequon, WI for 30 years. After retiring from the farm, they moved to Wautoma in 1995. Richard loved the outdoors and spent many years enjoying gardening and riding his bike.
He is survived by four children: Teri (Williams) Blacklock (Austin), Sandra (Williams) Borowiecki (Tomasz), Mary & Tom, and Ann (Williams) Dotson (Horace Jr.); two grandchildren, Andrew Joseph Borowiecki (Ashley) and Rebecca Borowiecki Ziebelman (Scott); two great grandchildren; one sister: Barbara (Jerry) Granger; three brothers: David (Nikki) Williams, Robert (Valerie) Williams, James (Nancy) Williams. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Margaret (Robert) Petzold.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Waushara Community Church in Wautoma with Pastor R. Alan Spitler officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Wautoma Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
