Richard D. Gohlke, age 67, of Wautoma, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his home.
He was born May 16, 1954 in Berlin, the son of Phillip and Velta (Purdy) Gohlke. He married Cynthia on October 14, 1977 at Zion Lutheran Church in Neshkoro.
Rick was a 1972 graduate of Westfield High School. He farmed and had a successful real estate business. He was a loving son, a devoted husband, a proud father, a doting grandfather and the best friend anyone could ask for.
To know Rick was to love Rick. His tenacious work ethic, unfiltered charm and passion to help won the hearts and touched the lives of all those around him. He will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. at the World War II Memorial Building, 440 West Main Street in Wautoma.
