Raymond Guetzke

Raymond "Ray" Guetzke, age 73 of Hancock, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, February 4, 2014. He was born on October 3, 1940 in Germantown to Gilbert F. and Anna M. (Bernhardt) Guetzke. On July 15, 1967 Ray married Judith Ann Deppiesse at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg. Ray was the owner of Ray's Close-Outs in Hancock and Adams/Friendship. He was a member of the Hancock Lion's Club. Ray was an avid outdoorsman and loved deer hunting. He is survived by his wife: Judy Guetzke; children: Nancy (Ed Wells) Guetzke, Friend- ship, Matthew (Rose Anderson) Guetzke, Plainfield; three grand- children: Kyle and Tyler Burich and Katelin Guetzke; brother: Ardell Guetzke, Cedarburg; other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home, Plainfield with Rev. Eric L. Hambrock officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family expresses memorials in Ray's name to the Hancock Lion's Club or Salvation Army.
