Peggy Ann Templen

Peggy Ann Templen, age 68, of Wautoma passed away Wednesday evening, January 4, 2023 at Rosemore Village in Wild Rose.

She was born May 27, 1954 in Milwaukee, the daughter of James E. and Violet L. (Beierle) Zynda. She married Richard “Rick” Templen on February 14, 2007 in Wautoma.

Peggy was employed by Dr. Drew at Redgranite Chiropractic for a number of years. She will be remembered for her love of her Llamas along with feeding birds, deer, her dogs, quilting, cross stitching,  crocheting and planting flowers. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard “Rick” Templen, Wautoma; two daughters, April Lemanczyk and Amy (Mike) Hedden; three grandchildren, Miranda, Adam and Curtis; one brother, Bill (Kathy) Zynda; three stepsons; three nieces, and one great nephew.

Peggy was preceded in the by her parents; one brother, Keith J. Tenant; and by her uncle Robert J. Zynda.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with David Reilly officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.

The family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Rosemore Village and Promedica Hospice for their love and care of Peggy.
