Pearl M. Woodworth, age 94 of Wautoma, passed away Thursday evening, April 19, 2012 at Heartland House.
She was born on July 17, 1917 in Coloma, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Wagner) Boesler. She married Kenneth Woodworth on October 7, 1934 in Coloma. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2002.
Pearl was a homemaker for most of her life and also helped her husband on their farm and with his excavating business. She enjoyed tending to her large, beautiful garden, feeding the birds, cooking and fishing with her husband and children. Pearl was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma. She was a great mother and grandmother and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Pearl is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Harry) Handel, Wautoma, Nancy (Ray) Honl, Wautoma; two grandchildren, Katie (Justin) Klawitter and Bryon Honl; two special nieces, Frances Gallert and Sherry Boesler, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, August, Ernest, Ester, Edna and Clifford and her sisters-in-law Dorothy (Howard) McNamee and Violet (Rueben) Marks.
Funeral Services for Pearl M. Woodworth will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00am in Grace United Methodist Church, Wautoma with the Rev. George Kafer officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Wautoma Union Cemetery beside her husband.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00am until the time of services at the Church.
