Olga Mae Goffin, age 83, of Coloma died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Michael's Hospital, Stevens Point. She was born on January 30, 1933 in Chicago to Elmer C. and Olga M. (Heitner) Geringer. On September 1, 1950 she married David M. Goffin in Chicago. Olga was a stay at home mom, raising her four children. In 1972 the family moved to Coloma to be closer to Olga's family. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, loved animals and traveling when she could.
Olga is survived by her children: Don Goffin, Daniel (Susan) Goffin, Kim Peacock; daughter-in-law: Diane Goffin-Gavilett; grandchildren: Charmain, Matthew, Christopher, Don, Amanda, Danny, Amy, David, Denise; numerous great grandchildren; sister: Carol Bagley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: David M. Goffin on April 27, 2001; son: David Goffin in 1983 and her dog: Rocky on December 23, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Coloma. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Jacob Gawlik with burial to follow in Prince of Peace Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at church from 9:30AM until the time of service at 11AM.
