Natalie Lee Hartford, age 58, formerly of Wautoma, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at her home in Wausau.
She was born October 25, 1957 in Berlin, the daughter of Keith and Geraldine (Schlueter) Hartford.
Natalie was raised by her parents on the Schlueter family homestead in the township of Dakota where she enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and riding her three-wheeler. She was a 1975 graduate of Wautoma High School. Later, she moved to Wausau where she was employed at Wausau Homes. Natalie loved country music and traveling, especially in the mountains. Natalie was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma and she attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Wausau.
She is survived by her aunts, Kathryn "Polly" Hartford, Wautoma, Eileen Christensen, Wautoma, Joanne (Jim) Dunn, Pardeeville, Barbara Hartford, Hancock, Mary Raatz, Germantown, and Tootie Weishaar, Ripon; her uncle, Delbert (Dorla) Hartford, Alder, Montana. She is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Natalie was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, Harvey and Alma (Raatz) Schlueter, paternal grandparents, Harrison and Isabella (Riggle) Hartford, along with numerous aunts, uncles; one cousin, Kathleen Garrett, and by her longtime friend, Glenn Stowe.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma with Rev. Domnik Israel officiating. Inurnment will be at Wautoma Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
