Myra A. Bieri, age 68, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend died at her home on July 25, 2012, after a brief fight with cervical cancer. She graduated from Kelly High School in Chicago IL, and received her Bachelor Of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois where she majored in Secondary Education. She taught English and History at New Lisbon High School, and was the first to develop a curriculum for a Forensics' program there. For the majority of Myra's career, she was a champion for the Head start program. She worked tirelessly to uphold the values of the program and to encourage others to embrace the vision of Head Start. She loved the families and her co- workers. She felt lucky to work with and for all of you. Myra was also a proud lifelong democrat. She voted in every single election since she was legally able. She believed we all need to exercise this right. Myra is survived by her three children, daughter Tanya and John Eagan, son David Sanders and Laura DeLeon, and daughter Meredith Bieri and Wayne Posselt; nine grandchildren, Johnny, Jack and Harleigh Eagan; Starr, Tegan and Aaron Sanders, Maggie Mae and Macy Booth, and Kyle Posselt; sister Milana and Frank Walter; ex husbands Ron Sanders and Bruce Bieri, son in law Shannon Booth; and her two beloved pets Fiona and Max. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, special in-laws, and her many friends, some of them lifelong and forever in her heart. You know who you are. A memorial service will be held at the Almond, WI Legion Hall, 1401 Division Street on Saturday, August 4, 2012. Greeting at 10:30, services to start at 11:00.
