Mildred L. "Millie" Klein, age 85, of Wautoma, passed away Monday evening, March 11, 2013, at her home. She was born August 19, 1927 in Germania, Marquette County, the daughter of William and Alvina Bandt. She married Walter Attoe whom preceded her in death on May 1, 1970. She married Leon J. Klein on May 31, 1981 in Waupaca. Millie attended school in Neshkoro. She and her first husband resided in Milwaukee before moving to Wild Rose and later Wautoma. Millie was employed at the former Karl's IGA and then at Seavecki's for 25 years. She was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church along with the United Methodist Women. She is survived by her husband, Leon J. Klein, Wautoma; two sons, Dennis (Lynn) Attoe, Spring Lake, Dale (Sherri) Attoe, Poy Sippi; five grandchildren, Christopher (Wendy) Attoe, Melissa (Curt) Hietpas, Jeremy Attoe, Sarah Attoe, Nicholas (Tina) Attoe; five great grandchildren, Jayden, Emily, Morgan, Madelynn, and Blake; one sister, Naomi Steger, Oakland, CA. She is further survived by other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her first husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Eunice Attoe and by twin sisters, Vernoa Muehlius and Viola Muehlius. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma with Rev. George J. Kafer officiating. Burial will be in Wild Rose Union Cemetery, town of Wautoma in the spring. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
