Michelle L. Johannes

 Michelle Lynn Johannes, age 56, of Wild Rose, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 surrounded by family.

She was born May 24, 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Kasdorf) Viau. She married Ronald “Ron” Johannes on June 9, 2004. Michelle spent her early years at Adams/Friendship where she attended school. She was employed as a Unit Clerk, Emergency Department Technician and Certified Nursing Assistant at Wild Rose Hospital for the passed 25 years. Michelle enjoyed the outdoors, camping and attending Rock Fest. Most of all, she loved being with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald “Ron” Johannes, Wild Rose; three children: Anthony Viau, Wautoma, Christopher Viau, Plainfield, Joshua Armstrong, Hancock; four grandchildren: Marianna, Abigail and Slayden Viau, Sienna Armstrong; her father, Charles Viau, Wild Rose; four brothers: Bob Viau, Hancock, Charlie (Barb) Viau, Hancock, Dan Viau, Adams, Brendon Viau, Adams; two sisters: Monique (Rhett) Reichoff, Plainfield and Angie Viau, Westby; her father in-law: Lewis Johannes, Wautoma; brother-in-law: James Johannes, Omro. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Viau; her son: Jacob Armstrong; and by her mother-in-law: Loretta Johannes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. followed by  memorial services with Rev. Mike Thomas of Hope Lutheran Church officiating. A memorial will be established in Michelle’s memory.
