Michael Hanley

Michael E. Hanley, age 58, of Wautoma, died unexpectedly Friday, May 2, 2014. He was born August 8, 1955, in Wautoma, the son of Dan and Adeline (Wagner) Hanley. Mike was educated in the Wautoma School District and was a graduate of Wautoma High School. He owned and operated his own trucking company for many years. He married Chris (Kwiatkowski) Grebe. Mike enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, farming, watching sports of all kinds, riding his motorcycle, telling jokes, family vacations and family gatherings. Mike never knew a stranger.

Mike is loved and will be missed by his wife, Chris; daughter, Katie (Mike "Oscar") of Madison; sons, Craig (Wendy) Grebe of Oshkosh and Brad Grebe of Lake Mills; grandchildren, Dylan and Andrew; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. All are invited to join the family on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Richford Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside committal service. A memorial in Mike's name has been established.
