Melvin T. Welch passed away at home on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Melvin was born on December 23, 1927 in Fairfield, Wisconsin. He operated a successful construction business in Delavan, Wisconsin for many years and retired to Neshkoro, Wisconsin in 1997. He served with 6th Armored Division Signal Corp from 1954 to 1956 in Germany. Melvin was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.
Melvin is survived by his wife of 61 years: Mary Ellen; four children: Debra (Geff) Sawtelle, Neshkoro, Curtis Welch, Delavan, Karla (Alex) Larsen, Darien, Sharon Welch (Jeff Roberts), Delavan, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
