Matthew Krimpelbein

Matthew Krimpelbein, age 80, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday evening, August 28, 2011 at Wild Rose Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1931 in Milwaukee, the son of Heinrich and Eva (Wagner) Krimpelbein. He married Darlene G. Mashock on November 24, 1956 in Milwaukee. She preceded him in death on June 9, 2001.
Matthew served his country in the United States Army and received the National Defense Service Medal. He then worked for 30 years as a letter carrier in Milwaukee. Matthew was a dog and cat lover and spoiled them as often as he could.
Matthew is survived by four children, Mark J. Krimpelbein, Linda M. Krimpelbein, Laurie A. Krimpelbein, and Daniel L. (Gail) Krimpelbein, Oshkosh; two grandchildren, Amber Marie (Trevor) Eckstein and Julie Lynn, one brother Heinrich (Delores) Krimpelbein, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2011 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Leikness Funeral Home with a procession and graveside ceremony at Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI to follow.
