Mary Penberthy

Mary Lou Penberthy, age 66, of Coloma, passed away on Sunday April27, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield, after a 2 year battle with cancer. She was born on June 14, 1947 in Coloma to Walter and Catherine (Maynard) Zuehlke. Mary worked as a Property Manager for the Meridian Group for 24 years. On July 26, 2002 she married Lavern Penberthy. Mary enjoyed going to garage sales, auctions and trips to Door County. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.



Mary is survived by her husband: Lavern Penberthy; children: Jim (Tricia) Lietz, Jenny (Jonathan Geary) Lietz; grandchildren: Paige and Hannah Lietz; step children: Becky (Jim) Hovde, Shelly Penberthy, Terri Ripple, Lori (Michael) Mussey, Rick (Debbie Hackbart) Lietz; step grandchildren: Laurynda (Ben) Gaffney, Adam (Becky) Ripple, Kyle Ripple, Lauren Mussey and Allison Mussey; five step great grandchildren: Aubrey, Nolan, Jacob, Zack, Audrey; brothers and sisters: Annette (Roman) Liebsle, Barbara Tuma, Walter (Sandy) Zuehlke, Richard (Debbie) Zuehlke, Diane Riley, Joan (Harold) Moore, Jean (Robert) Lange, Dorothy (Robert) Goldsmith, Allen (Ruby) Zuehlke, Nancy (Dennis) Anderson, Laurie (Ken) Bertotto, Tammy (Bernie) Fritz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11AM at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Pam with burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Coloma. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, May 5 2014 from 4-6PM at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma and again on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
