Mary Kubiak

Mary Lou Kubiak, age 78 of Arlington Heights, IL, formerly of Wautoma, died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Lutheran Home for the Aged in Arlington Heights, IL. She was born on June 28, 1939 in Madison to Wilbur and Margaret (Schmeckpeper) Holtz. Mary graduated from Wautoma High School with the Class of 1957. On February 23, 1963 she married Gordon Kubiak at Hope Lutheran Church. The couple then moved to Illinois where Mary Lou worked as a Clerk at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. She enjoyed spending time at the lake house on Lake Huron, but most of all, spending time with her family was the most important. Mary Lou will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mary Lou is survived by her children: Jill Sawaya, Steven (Theresa) Kubiak, John (Angie) Kubiak; grandchildren: Wesley, Veronica, Vanessa, Joseph, James, Alexander, Nicholas; siblings: Charles (Pat) Holtz, Rodney (Joan) Holtz, Sharon (Thomas) Filar, Nancy Holtz, Thomas (Michelle) Holtz, Janice (Michael Biernat) Holtz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Gordon Kubiak.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Hope Lutheran Church, Wautoma with burial to follow in Wautoma Union Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
