Mary Margaret Bohn

Mary Margaret Bohn, age 80 of Coloma passed away unexpected at home on Saturday, November 11, 2023. She was born in Plainfield on June 8, 1943 to Ora and Alda (Crummer) Rowsam. Mary graduated from Tri-County High School with the Class of 1961. On October 6 1962 she married Robert E. Bohn in Plainfield. Mary worked as a cook for Tri-County Schools for many years and then as a Teller at M&I Bank, now BMO. She enjoyed needlework, puzzles, gardening and making beautiful quilts. Mary always made sure that no one left her home hungry. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years: Robert “Bob” Bohn; children: Jere Bohn, Dale (Brenda) Bohn, Lynda (James) Myrick; grandchildren: Renee, Bailey (Sam), Karen, Jason (Gwen); great grandchildren: Cameron, Nolan; sisters: Lois (Gary) Bohn, Mavis Johannes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: James Rowsam and sisters: Ardis Nigh and Jeanne Muschinski.

Private graveside services will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Coloma. A celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Coloma Library in Mary's name.
