Marsha Lee Wiesjahn, age 73, formerly of Coloma, passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Heartland House in Wautoma. She was born April 16, 1947 in Portage, the daughter of George D. and Norma (Blackmore) Wiesjahn. Marsha was a 1965 graduate of Westfield High School and later graduated from UW-Stevens Point. Marsha was employed by the Larkin, Illinois School District as a High School Math Teacher for 33 years. She was a member and past treasurer of a teacher’s bowling league for 30 years. She loved to travel and visited six continents and many countries with her best friends Ann, Diane and Janice. Marsha was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her mother, Norma Wiesjahn, Wautoma; her sister-in-law, Debbie Wiesjahn, Coloma, niece, Shanda Wiesjahn and her friend, Nick Barrette, Janesville; nephew, Garrett Wiesjahn, Coloma; great niece, Reagen; uncle, Keith Blackmore, Texas; three special friends, Ann Cook, Diane Geary, and Janice Boehle all of Elgin, IL. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Marsha was preceded in death by her father, George Wiesjahn; her brother, Steven Wiesjahn; two uncles, Glenn (Forence) Blackmore and Arden (Laura Mae) Blackmore; three aunts, Vivian (Henry) Sawicki, Elaine (Larry) Ingalls and Ardena Blackmore .
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Terry Temanson officiating. Burial will be at Prince of Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Coloma. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. www.leriknessfuneralhome.com
