Marla O'Keefe

Marla Rae O'Keefe, age 61, of Wautoma passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at North Ridge CBRF in Stevens Point.

She was born Nov. 24, 1954 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Vernon and Gladys (Domrose) Wedde. She married Patrick M. O'Keefe on Dec. 31, 1980 in Milwaukee.

Marla and her husband resided in Hales Corners before moving to Wautoma in 1990. She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Silver Lake Manor and Wild Rose Manor. Marla loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick M. "Pat" O'Keefe, Wautoma; three children, Anthony Sueoka, Mazomanie, Jason (Brenda) O'Keefe, Mosinee, Cullen O'Keefe, Wautoma; grand- children, Julian, Devon, Sarenna, Angelica, Samantha, Brittany, Jordan, and Catlyn; three sisters, Tena (Mike) Carroll, Plainfield, Verna (Robert) Gallagher, Colorado Springs, CO, Tara Wedde (friend Chris Ehrett), Slinger; one brother, Dale (Denise) Wedde, Jackson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Shane Sueoka on April 19, 2016; her parents; her infant daughter, Kimberly; one niece, Amanda Peschong; two nephews, Justin Peschong and Adam Wedde.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services.
