Marjorie J. Schilling, age 88, of Almond, passed away Friday morning, March 15, 2013 at her home.
She was born June 21, 1924 in Plainfield, the daughter of Richard and Mary (Youngs) Bentley. She married George F. Schilling on June 2, 1954 at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Buena Vista.
Marjorie was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield. Mrs. Schilling was a cook at the Sky Club in Plover for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, reading and crafts.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary (fiancé, Brian Mallory) Schilling, Jefferson, Alice (Rick) Phillips, Almond; three grand children, Andrea (Jason) Cleland, Shane (Abbi) Phillips and Adam Phillips; three great grandchildren, Kaylae Philllips, Rilynne and Aislynne Cleland; her sister, LaNae Keough, Plover; sister-in-law, Marie Ostwald, San Diego, CA.; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Alice Ordway, Marian Swen, Doris Sherman and Iva Rupp; two brothers, Ralph and Don Bentley.
Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield. Inurnment will be in the St. Martin's Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the church.
