Marie Burger, age 88, formerly of Wautoma, passed away peacefully
Thursday morning, July 26, 2012 at Crest View Nursing Home in New Lisbon.
She was born August 30, 1923 in Wautoma the daughter of Albert and
Lenora (Kroll) Fritz. She married Robert Becker on August 24, 1942 in Albuquerque, NM. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1969. She
later married Jack Burger on March 18, 1972. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1983.
Marie's life calling was to be a mother and homemaker.
She is survived by two children, Sandy (Mike) Schlindwein, Necedah,
Sherrie (Mark) Zoske, Greendale; 10 grandchildren, Douglas, Jean, Jane, Carrie, Jon, Chad, Todd, Debbie, Shane, and Kristin; 20 great- grandchildren, Angelia, Madeleine, Hannah, Liddy, Ben, Morgan, Brad,
Dan, Jessica, Joshua, Jackson, Mason, Jacob, Jordon, Dakota, Kendall,
Colton, Kaylin, Cody and Cyle; 2 great-great grandchildren, Riley and Haley, one sister, Vivian Stone, Mt. Horeb; her nephew, Andrew; and by her niece, Jenifer.
In addition to both her husband's, she was preceded in death by two children, Susan Engle and Mark Becker, and by her granddaughter, Kellie Becker.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 12:00NOON in Hope Lutheran Church in Wautoma. Burial will be at the Hope Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Church on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m.
until the time of services.
