Loretta E. Fritz, age 74, of Wautoma, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 14, 2012 after suffering an apparent heart attack at her home. She was born July 10, 1937 in the Township of Richford, the daughter of Avolt and Alma (Bohn) Pomplun. She married Harold E. Fritz on May 15, 1954 in Wautoma. Loretta was a longtime faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She also belonged to the Altar Guild and recycled cards for the Church. She is survived by her husband, Harold E. Fritz, Wautoma; three children, Barbara (Keith) Koster, New London, Michael (friend, Kate Dixon) Fritz, Powell, Ohio and Karen (Michael) Klatt., Green Bay; grandchildren, Valerie (Mike) DeCoster, Nathan (Emily) Koster, Jason Koster , Benjamin Hietpas, and Melissa Klatt; one great granddaughter, Sophia DeCoster; three brothers, Marlin Pomplun, Richford, Eldon (Patsy) Pomplun, Omro, Carl Pomplun, King, WI; three sisters-in-law, Carolyn Pomplun, Omro, Eunice Pomplun, Dalton, Wilma Pomplun, Wautoma; a brother-in-law, Bob Ellis, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Herbert, Martin, Henry, Arnold, Gilbert and Elmer; two sisters, Irma Wetzel and Violet Ellis. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Gregory D. Hyatt officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. A Memorial is being established.
