Lois Gruber

Lois Mary Gruber, age 77, of Wautoma, passed away Wednesday morning, August 8, 2018 at Silver Lake Manor in Wautoma where she had resided since 2013.

She was born August 24, 1940 in the Township of Mecan, Marquette County, the daughter of William and Olga (Bliesnick) Manthey. She married Ralph Gruber Sr. on July 2, 1960. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 2009. Lois enjoyed sewing, gardening and making crafts.

She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Gruber (special friend, Tracy Weimer), Mount Morris and Ralph Gruber Jr., Plainfield; one grandson, Joseph (Sarah) Gruber, Janesville; two great grandchildren, Olivia and Wyatt; one sister-in-law,  Margaret (William) Kikendall, Redgranite. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. A Celebration of Life will follow at Billy B’s in Wautoma. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
