Linda M. Martin

Linda Marie Martin, age 68, of Wautoma, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh.

She was born August 1, 1955 in Berlin, the daughter of Harvey and Carmen (Kietzer) Martin.

Linda was a 1973 graduate of Wautoma High School. She was employed as a waitress at Silvercryst in Wautoma and later worked at Walmart in Berlin for 30 years. Currently, Linda was employed at Casey’s General Store in Wautoma. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends.

Linda is survived by three sons, Robert Gregory Patterson, Wautoma, Andrew Patterson (Ami Mata), Wisconsin Rapids, Derek Szewczyk, Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Jamie (Greg) Timm, Wautoma; one brother, David (Jeri Ann) Martin, Coloma; one niece; six nephews; her dear friends, Robert Patterson, Plainfield and Janice Wedde, Wautoma. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Linda was preceded in death by one son, Grant Szewczyk; her parents, Harvey and Carmen Martin; one brother, Guy Martin; and by her longtime companion, Jerry Weiland.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Lake Alpine County Park, N2259 22^nd Ave. Wautoma.

The family wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Aurora Medical Center, including the Intensive Care Unit and Hospice for their compassionate care of Linda.
