Lester Cook

Lester H. Cook, age 68, of Wild Rose, formerly of Ripon passed away Wednesday morning, May 23, 2012, at his home. He was born February 29, 1944 in Oshkosh, the son of Harry A. and Mildred (Swanke) Cook. He married Shannon M. Erickson on September 26, 2001 in Wautoma. Lester resided in Ripon for many years where he was employed at the foundry in Ripon and Berlin. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, bow hunting and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Shannon M. Cook, Wild Rose; one sister, Carol Radtke, Brandon; two brothers, Robert (Carol) Cook, Madison, Victor (Maryann) Cook, Oshkosh. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Jane Cook; and by three brothers, Dennis Cook, Alvin Cook, and Edwin Cook. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 205 Clark St., Plainfield with Pastor Tom Gaudet officiating. Visitation will be held at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
