LeMonde Decker

LeMonde J. Decker, age 90, of Mt. Morris was reunited with her husband Julius, son Bill and her 11 brothers and sisters when she entered eternal life on Monday, August 26, 2013. She was born to Bernard and Anna (Solvorn) Olson on June 12, 1923 along with her twin sister, LeMoyne. She passed away on Jan. 31, 2003. LeMonde was raised in Mt. Morris and was a 1941 graduate of Wautoma
High School. She spent most of her adult life working in the Milwaukee area. She retired to her home in Mt. Morris at age 62. She loved her Sunday's dancing at the Golden Nugget in Pine River with many friends and cooking big meals for her family. Survivors include one daughter, Joanne Wille, Wautoma; three sons, James (Sue) Decker, Waupaca, Boyd (JoAnn) Decker, Cedar Grove, Allyn Decker, West Allis; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Heart- land House for all the care and attention they gave to our mom and to Agnesian Hospice/Hope. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church with Chaplain Pam Werth officiating. Private burial will be at the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the Church.
