LaVonna Muzzy

LaVonna "Vonny" Lou Muzzy, 78, was called to her heavenly home by the grace of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. LaVonna was born, October 3, 1938 in Rice Lake, WI to Albert Carl and Neva (Topp) Hannemann. She was baptized in Rice Lake, WI and confirmed as a young lady. She graduated from Wautoma High School in 1956. On January 18, 1958, she was united in marriage to Sheldon Muzzy in Hertford, NC. Their marriage was blessed with two children, a daughter, Holly, and son, Kelly. LaVonna's greatest joy was being a homemaker/caregiver. She performed God's work serving her family with gracious love and kindness. She enjoyed gatherings with family and friends; hosting and attending garage sales; shopping at thrift stores; being outdoors; playing golf, cards and board games; relaxing on her front porch and other's front porches; and lending a helping hand to her family during the fall hunting season. LaVonna's smile and wit were enjoyed by many and... she was the best Mom ever!

LaVonna is survived by her husband, Sheldon Muzzy; two children, Holly (Dean) Kaminski and Kelly (Sharon) Muzzy; and five blessed grandchildren, Brett, Brock and Alyssa Muzzy, Cassandra and Brandon Kaminski. She is further survived by her brothers, Aaron (Myrna) Hannemann and Jerald "Jerry" (Theresse) Hannemann; sister, Susan (Robert) Fecke; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Bonnie (Warren) Leach.

The visitation, funeral service, and luncheon will be held on Saturday, February 25th, at Hope Lutheran Church, 301 E. Mt. Morris Ave., Wautoma, WI. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am, followed by the service and lunch.

In lieu of flowers, LaVonna desired contributions be assigned to a scholarship fund for a Wautoma High School graduate ranking 12th in his/her class to utilize for their future endeavors. Please make checks payable to Holly Kaminski.
