Laurie Ann Sommers, age 51, of Hancock, passed away Tuesday evening, December 17, 2013 at Wild Rose Manor.
She was born August 13, 1962 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Donald A. and Beartrice A. (Bigalke) Kruzicki.
Laurie enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, bowling, shooting pool and darts. Her greatest love being around family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Jesse (Danielle) Van Tassel, Wisconsin Rapids, Alexander and Lorrren Sommers, both of Stevens Point; her mother, Beatrice Kruzicki, Polonia; her brothers and sisters, Patty (Bob) Dunn, Hancock, Gary (Lynn) Kruzicki, Plover, Debbie (Mike) Bembeneck, Polonia, Kirk Kruzicki, Wisconsin Rapids, Joe Kruzicki, Stevens Point; further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald A. Kruzicki and her brother, Francis J. Kruzicki.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on December 21, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7176 Esker Road, Custer, WI to celebrate Laurie's life. The Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements, www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com
