Laura Jean Seymour, age 57, of Wautoma, died peacefully Friday morning, August 31, 2012 at her home. She was born August 23, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Edward and Dorothy (Huro) Finneran. She married Virgil Lee Seymour on January 8, 1971 in Chicago. Laura loved her family especially her grand- children and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed collecting M&M memorabilia.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil L. Seymour, Wautoma; six children, Terry (Monica) Seymour, Rockford, IL, Dusty Seymour (Linda Johnson) Wautoma, Betty (Tom) Boy, Wautoma, Tammy Lively (Kevin Kovacic) Wautoma, Jamie Stiff, Jacksonville, FL, and Sofia (Kevin) Splittgerber, Redgranite; 25 grand- children, Nicholas, Ryan, Megan, Courtney, Jon, Derek, Kaitlynn, Brian, Emily, Morgan, Maggie, Austin, Laura, Zachary, Cearra, Bobby III, Ethan, Joshua, Haley, Alexis, Hannah, Phillip (Ariel), Jeffrey, Steven, Alex; two great grand- children, Wyatt and Aaron; three sisters, Kathleen (Harvey) Karpinski, Florida, Patricia (Jeffrey) Wenzell, Illinois, Theresa (Kenneth) Boxermen, Illinois; three brothers, James Finneran, Oregon, Daniel Finneran, Florida, Michael (Lori) Finneran, Illinois. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Laura was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wautoma with the Rev. Robert L. Stegmann officiating. Burial will be at Wild Rose Union Cemetery, Town of Wautoma.
Visitation will be held at the Church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
