Kurt F. Boesler, age 57, of Coloma, passed away early Thursday morning, January 20, 2011, at the Portage County Health Care Center, Stevens Point. He was born December 1, 1953 in Milwaukee, the son of Robert F. and Geraldine R. (Ernser) Boesler. Kurt was an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
He also liked sports, especially watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Boesler, Coloma; two sisters, Judy (John) Kopach, Coloma, and Lisa (Rodney) Bohn, Neshkoro; four nieces, Terri (Richard) Jackson, Coloma, Sue (Ed Hintz) Kopach, Coloma, Karen (Kenneth) Lewko, Coloma, Quentin (Jennifer) Bohn, Lake Forest, CA., Rachel (Jim) Schinkowitch, Fond du Lac; one grandniece, Sami (Mike Decorah) Jackson, Coloma, three grandnephews, Trevor Jackson, Coloma, Zack Hintz, Coloma, John Lewko, Coloma; his great-grand niece, Averie Decorah.Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Boesler on October 18, 2004. Memorial Services will held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with Rev. Nathan A. Gauerke officiating.
