Kirk E. Juslen, age 52, of Neshkoro, died suddenly on Saturday, July 17, 2010 after suffering a heart attack while biking near Madison.
He was born April 24, 1958 in Berlin, the son of Vaino and Beatrice (Welch) Juslen. Kirk was a 1976 graduate of Wautoma High School. He was a third generation Master Craftsman carpenter in the family's business in Redgranite where he made his career since the age of 15. In the numerous custom homes that Kirk and his family have built his talents are most evident in his meticulous beautiful staircases. As a bicycling enthusiast, Kirk thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. Most weekends found him traveling to one of the many bike paths in Wisconsin and surrounding states. His other interests included photography, investments and tinkering. With his sharp mechanical ability there was seldom an item he couldn't repair or improve upon.
He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Juslen, Redgranite; three brothers,
Aaron Juslen, Neshkoro, Waino (Rene' Ingwalson) Juslen, Wautoma, Warren (Joleen) Juslen, Redgranite; one sister, Brenda Juslen (Daniel Hoppa), Neshkoro. He is further survived by nephews and nieces, Adam Juslen, Redgranite, Mark Juslen, Oshkosh, Michelle Juslen, Menasha, Juline Emons, Milwaukee, Clayton Emons, Oshkosh, and Caelin Emons, Oshkosh and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private family services will be held at the Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma. Interment will be at Foster Road Cemetery, Redgranite.
